Residential Program
A primary addiction treatment program providing clients with a structured living environment and intensive schedule. This program includes education about addiction and recovery, individual counseling, group therapy, family counseling, social skill development and an emphasis on relapse prevencion planning. In addition, medical monitoring is provided through physical examinations, nursing assessments and care, medication education, referrals and dietary consulations.

Halfway House Program
A residential extended care addiction treatment program designed to help clients make the transition from a primary treatment program to independent living. This program includes individual counseling, group therapy, family counseling, social skill development and an emphasis on relapse prevention planning. In addition, medical monitoring is provided through physical examinations, nursing assesments and care, medication education, referrals and dietary consultations.

Intensive Outpatient Program
A primary addiction treatment program that helps clients address the severity of their addiction and to begin establishing a recovering lifestyle. The program includes education about addiction and recovery, individual counseling, group therapy, family counseling and an emphasis on relapse prevention planning. Clients participate in this program while continuing to be involved in their normal routines, such as work and family obligations.

Aftercare Program
Designed to provide continuing treatment services to persons completing a primary treatment program. The program includes individual counseling and group therapy, with an emphasis on relapse prevention and development of community support.

The Family Program
Designed for individuals who are, or have been affected by someone else's substance abuse. Those participating in the program learn about the disease of addiction, as well as gain insight into how the disease effects them. In addition to this educational program, individual and group therapy are offered to family members.

Intervention Program
Designed to provide services to individuals who have misused or abused substances. These education and treatment services are provided through individual counseling, group therapy and family counseling.

DUI Program
An intervention services for persons arrested for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or other drugs. The program includes DUI evaluations and risk education.

Youth Outpatient Program
Designed for young people between the ages of 12 and 17. The program includes intervention and treatment services for young people who are: using, abusing, or dependent upon alcohol and/or other drugs or affected by a family member's use of alcohol and/or drugs. These services are provided through individual, group and family counseling.

Employee Assistance Program
Provides local employers with a system to deliver professional assistance to employees and their family membets when serious personal problems are affecting job performance. The program includes consultation, assistance in establishing policies and procedures, supervisory training, assessments and referral.

Referrals
Sojourn is committed to providing comprehensive client care. In cases where client needs cannot be met by Sojourn services, referrals are made to community service providers or other licensed treatment providers.

Community Education/Consultation
Sojourn's professional staff members are available to provide community education about substance abuse-related issues. Sojourn staff also participate in community-wide efforts to address community concerns about substance abuse.
